My kids were home for a whole week. We all survived (how did I ever homeschool?). I took a break from social media. It was fabulous. I feel better focused now and a little more balanced. I needed the space to remind myself how to enjoy my favorite things and people.

Good stuff.
I will never be one of those people who exits entirely from the online world and social media but sometimes I need to recalibrate how I manage that as part of my life and figure out how it works best for me instead of against me.  I welcomed the pause to help me reset some goals for myself, including figuring out the direction this blog and it’s purpose should take. That hasn’t been clear for awhile, so let’s hear an amen to that piece of clarity. However brief it may be.
